We had an incident on March 9th where a server maintenance effort resulted in some account and reservation issues that required correction.
Details:
- During the maintenance window, our technical team's processes for using the latest backup-data when bringing the site back online incorrectly used an older version.
- This caused a short period of time where some guests were shown availability for some sites that were already technically booked by other guests.
- This also caused a situation where new guest accounts were created with auto-incremented identifiers that were the same as previous guests that were created in the gap between the used backup data and the most recent backup data.
- We have corrected all of the accounts and restored all of the original reservations.
If your account was impacted, your reservations and any payments made might not appear in your account and you will be contacted by staff to help resolve those issues.
