Full access to Highway 40 has been restored. The south entrance to Mount Kidd RV Park is fully open. To the north, road crews have restored one lane over the Evan Thomas Bridge, with two lanes expected to open tonight or tomorrow.
Power update: the earlier power outage has been restored. Power at Mount Kidd RV Park is currently back on, though it may be intermittent as the utility provider stabilizes service. If your site does lose power again, standard precautions apply — unplug sensitive electronics if you’re concerned about surge risk on reconnection.
Cancellation option still available: if you wish to cancel your reservation, we will honour the cancellation request and waive the nightly cancellation fees up to and including July 3. Cancellation fees will come back into effect beginning July 4, 2026.
